• Ajanta Caves are 31 rock-cut cave monuments from the 2nd of century BC. Ajanta Caves are painted and sculptured to be considered the masterpieces of frescos which remind the Sigiriya paintings in Sri Lanka and Buddhist religious art.
• Pitalkhora Caves has 13 caves which are set up on the hill. Some of the caves are damaged and crumbled. The caves are dates back from the 2nd century BC. The viewers can view unusual sculptures such as Yaksa figures and many other features which are the attraction of tourists.
• Ellora Caves are well known for monumental caves. Ellora is known as the Heritage Site of World that represents the rock-cut architecture of Indian epitome.
• Dnyneshwar Udyan is located at 40 km south of Aurangabad, the orchids are spread in 28 hectares, parks are spread in 28 hectares and floriculture is spread in 15 hectares. Dhyneshwar Udyan is known as the largest garden of Maharashtra.
• Daulatabad, as the name shows is known as ‘City of Prosperity’. Initially the city was known as Deogiri during 1327 with the passing of time, the name of the city was changed.
• Jayakwadi Dam is multipurpose project that is mostly known to irrigate the agricultural land as well as the water is also used for other industrial use and drinking. There is garden and bird sanctuary is situated around the dam.
• Khuldabad is a valley of saints, the story behind it that during the 14th century many Sufi saints lived there. Initially the Khuldabad was famous with the name of Rauza that means garden of paradise.
• Grishneshwar is temple of Hindus lord Shiva and 12th Jyotirlingas that is a sacred abode of lord Shiva. Grishneshwar is also known with the name of Ghushmeshwar.
• Mhaismal is situated at altitude of 1067. There are the ancient Girijamata, 300 ft TV tower, a lake is the interest of tourists to be visited there.
• Gautala Sancturay is situated far away from the 65 km of Aurangabad is known as the protect area for the bear habitat, birds as well as for the wild animals.
